On 16 June 2019 our new Salle modulable was formerly opened in the presence of about 20 invited guests, including my cousin Lindsay from Valencia, the clavichord maker Karin Richter from England and Lothar Bemmann, clavichord researcher, and his partner Lilla Barta from Göttingen. The new extension was drummed in by three Basler drummers followed by a short concert by Trio Basiliensis: resident musicians, Marianne Mezger – recorders, and myself, harpsichord, together with Ekkehard Weber – viola da gamba . The new room, which will seat up to 30, will be used as a music room for us, with occasional concerts by and with guest musicians, to which audiences will be personally invited. Anyone interested in being informed of concerts may let me know via my contact page.
Covid-19 has upset our concert planning, but we hope the following two dates will be viable. Numbers in both concerts have to be limited, so book early. In Strengelbach masks are obligatory.
